What is Batch Scheduling for Email Campaigns?

Batch scheduling (also referred to as batch delivery or drip mode) in GrowthHub spreads email delivery across defined intervals.

Instead of sending to your entire audience at once, you can control batch quantity, timing, and active days—so your emails are delivered gradually and predictably.

Key Benefits of Batch Scheduling for Email Campaigns

Traffic management
Sends emails in timed batches to avoid sudden surges to your websites or funnels.

Server load control
Reduces strain on your server by pacing the email delivery.

Flexible timing
Allows you to choose batch quantity, repeat frequency, specific days, and start/end times.

Pre-Sending Checklist

Before starting, make sure:

  • You have created an email template for the campaign

  • Your sending domain is verified in GrowthHub

How To Set Up a Batch Email Campaign

Follow these steps in the Email Builder to create your campaign and configure batch delivery (drip mode):

Step 1: Create an Email Campaign

  1. Go to Marketing → Email → Campaigns

2. Create a New Campaign or Edit an Existing One

Step 2: Design the Email

Note: Refer to the guide on how to use the Email Builder and Inline Editor for more details.

  1. Build or select a template

  2. Add content, images, and links

  3. Use Preview and Test Email to verify layout on desktop and mobile

Step 3: Select a Delivery Option (Batch Schedule)

  1. Click Send or Schedule

  1. From Sending Options, select Batch Schedule and complete the following:

  1. Add your Start date and time

  2. Add the Batch Quantity

Note: Batch Quantity refers to the number of emails sent per batch—not the number of batches.

Example: If you have 10,000 recipients and set 1,000 → emails will be sent in 10 batches.

  1. Add Repeat after (frequency in days, hours, minutes, or seconds)

  • If a saved draft previously used seconds, that field clears automatically to prevent errors

  1. Uncheck days when you don’t want emails sent

  2. Set specific start and end times

Validation (Batch Schedule)

  • If End time is earlier than Start time → error appears:
“End time can't be before start time.”

  • If invalid Start time is detected → prompt appears:
“Please enter a valid start time.”

  • Send and Schedule buttons are disabled until errors are fixed

  • Editing Start time confirms with a single OK button

  • Midnight (12:00 AM) boundaries are handled correctly without false errors

Additional Settings

  1. Add Sender Name (optional)

  2. Choose or configure Sender Domain

  3. Add Sender Email

  4. Add Subject Line

  5. Add Preview Text (optional)

  6. Select recipients in the To field (emails or smart lists)

Important Reminder

  • Always double-check the execution date, time, and time zone before scheduling

  • You can delete or reschedule the campaign

  • Rescheduling is allowed up to 1 hour before send time

  • Example: If scheduled at 11:00 AM EST, you can reschedule until 10:00 AM EST
